Grimm - Monroe and Nick

The only real problem I've ever really had with the show is Nick himself. He's such a blank slate. I am  literally at a loss for words when it comes to describing his personality. I get the impression that the show's creators wanted his Character to be an average Joe kinda guy, but boy did they really fuck up. Don't get me wrong, I love all the other characters, especially Monroe. But its kinda sad when a series secondary characters are way more interesting than the main character. True both Hank and Wu are average Joes, But at least they have a sense of humor. All Nick ever cares about is work. God he's so boring.  It's kind of hard to get invested in a series where I'm indifferent to what happens to the main character.
